When do I get access?

Is this really free for hosts?
Hosting an event is free. Creating the invite, collecting RSVPs, building the wishlist, and running the event wall don't cost you anything.
Do my kids need their own account?
No. There are no child accounts and no child logins in GIVeMEo. You hold the account, you run the event, and your kid just shows up on camera when they want to.
What phones does this work on?
GIVeMEo runs on iPhone and Android. Guests can open an invite and RSVP from a link on any phone, whether or not they've installed the app.
What happens to our photos and videos?
They belong to the people who were at the event. We store them so your guests can watch and download them, and we don't sell them, mine them for advertising, or hand them to third parties.
Can I use this for something other than a birthday?
Yes. Birthdays are where most people start, but the loop works for baby showers, graduations, holidays, retirements — anything with guests, gifts, and gratitude.
I already have the GIVeMEo app. Do I need the waitlist?
Keep using what you have. The waitlist is for the new full-loop experience — cash pool, event wall, and thank-you videos — which is rolling out separately.
Do my guests have to sign up to RSVP?
Guests can watch the video invite and RSVP from the link you send them. Claiming a gift or posting to the event wall needs an account, so we know who's who.
