We didn't set out to change celebrations. We set out to take the awkwardness out of gifting. Along the way, we realized the real challenge was everything around it: planning, coordinating, celebrating, remembering — for the people hosting and their guests.

The founder
Before founding GIVeMEo, Erica Jewel Weber spent over a decade in finance, selling financial products and quantitative trading technology to institutional investors.
Having lived through the shift from analog to digital, she knows that more technology doesn't always mean less work — especially when the pieces don't work together.
As a mother of three, she saw that same frustration in an experience almost everyone shares: celebrating the people in our lives. Invitations, gifting, and thank-yous were scattered across different platforms, leaving hosts to coordinate the pieces and guests to figure things out along the way.
She founded GIVeMEo to bring the entire experience together. Rather than raise capital on an idea alone, she chose to invest her own money in building, testing, and refining a working product first — creating a platform designed for everyone who hosts, gives, and celebrates.
For Erica, GIVeMEo isn't a departure from her past. It's where everything she's learned comes together.
